Welcome Eagle Sponsors
This is BE 08-45,
"Captain Hook". He came to us from Homer in 2008 after having a
halibut hook caught in his mouth. Unfortunately he'll never be released due to
his injuries, but he is recovering well. This guy will make an excellent education
bird some where's. This bird is a favorite of many of our clinic volunteers.
These are the eagles that came through Bird TLC so far this year.
BE 09 - 01 - Unfortunately, his condition never
improved. Whatever he ingested effected his organs and he wasn't ever going to
improve. He was put to sleep to put him out of misery.
BE 09 - 02 - This is a large female that's very
aggressive. She has some soft tissue damage around her wrist on her right
wing. After some Bird TLC R&R, she should be released later this year.
BE 09 - 03 - This an eagle from Kodiak that was
electrocuted while trying to perch on an electric (telephone) pole. His
prognosis is poor, but only time will tell.
BE 09 - 04 - Came from King Salmon.
Toxin. Passed away 2/18.
BE 09 - 05 - Passes away 3/14 from
complications from trichomonas.

Bird TLC from Sand Point.
